FRANKLIN – Residents who use the Franklin Recycling Center will soon see an increase in permit costs.
The Department of Public Works announced that beginning July 1, the annual permit fee will increase from $35 to $50. The permit allows residents access to the Recycling Center on Beaver Street and will remain valid through June 30, 2027.
Permit stickers may be purchased at the DPW Administrative Office on Fisher Street, the Treasurer/Collector’s Office at the Franklin Municipal Building, or directly at the Recycling Center. Officials say the increase will help support ongoing operations and maintenance of the facility.
