Franklin Police K9 Robbi Assists in Capture of Assault Suspect

By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Franklin Police K9 Robbi has helped to catch an assault suspect. Police say Sunday afternoon Officer Mike Gilboy and Robbi along with other shift officers nabbed a guy who ran along 495 after he fled through the woods from the Independence Place Apartments. The dog found him hiding under a rock. His several charges include Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon and Assault and Battery on a Person with an Intellectual Disability. Police are not releasing any names at this time.
