Aggressive salesmen have gotten the attention of police in Franklin. The department says over the last week they have gotten a lot of calls about aggressive Terminix employees who were out soliciting in Franklin neighborhoods. And Franklin Police say they got copies of some home camera videos showing solicitors using inappropriate language. They say after investigating they learned the salesmen were from a third party called Hawkes hired by Terminix to do door-to-door sales. Police say while a legit company, Hawkes didn’t get a required solicitation permit and was cited by police.
