A scam artist posing as the Town of Franklin’s Planning Department is apparently attempting to get money from local organizations. Franklin Police have posted a picture of a fake invoice on social media that was sent to an organization requesting a wire payment to the Town. It even has the town logo on it. The Town will not ask you to wire money and if you have questions about any bill you receive from the Town of Franklin, call Town Hall directly. If you think you’ve already been scammed, call Franklin police.
