Franklin is now the home of the first renewable propane site in Massachusetts. The Franklin Observer reports Representative Jeff Roy delivered remarks at an event last week at which Eastern Propane touted the availability of renewable propane products out of the Forge Park facility. The propane comes from the re-purposing of waste oils and fats which Eastern calls clean burning and less carbon-intensive than other fuels. And they say it solves the problems of disposing of that waste.
