By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Eversource says they are rounding the corner towards the end of the work on the overhead utility line transfers on the Hopkinton Main Street Corridor Project. In the latest Project update released this week, Eversource says as long as the other utility companies get their work done in a timely and sequential order, the overhead transfers will be done by the end of September. However, they are still on hold with installing new transformers as they say supply chain issues keep them still unavailable. Earlier this week a city tree hearing gave Eversource permission to remove a maple tree near 7 East Main Street to install new overhead utility lines there.
