By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Hopkinton has a new Interim Town Manager. Assistant Town Manager Elaine Lazarus was approved by the Select Board and sworn in Tuesday night, as 15-year Town Manager Norman Khumalo said goodbye. Khumalo announced in December he was retiring this spring to take a job in the private sector. The town has hired a consultant to find a new permanent Town Manager. The Hopkinton Independent reports resumes are due by May 6 and a search committee is currently being organized.
