Detour Extended on Old West Central in Franklin Due to Construction Delays

By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Franklin officials say construction on the Beaver Street Interceptor has been slow going on Old West Central due to rock, so the existing detour through Tri-County Drive will stay in place until next Friday February 23. Last fall the town started the multi-year project to replace parts of the 2.3-mile-long sewer line that has been operating since 1914. The detour runs Monday thru Friday from 7:30am until 3:30pm with only residents allowed on Pond St, Rolling Ridge Rd, Hilltop Rd and part of Old West Central.
