A part of Franklin’s Grove Street is closed during the day this week for work on the Beaver Street Interceptor Upgrade. Grove is closed at the MBTA train tracks between the hours of 7am – 4pm with traffic turning onto Grove from Route 140 detoured over to Beaver Street. The construction crew will also be doing what they call trenchless installation of the new sewer under Route 140 off the road at 38 Pond Street and within the Franklin Village Mall Area. At the Franklin Recreation Center, crews continue to build the new Interceptor Pump Station.
