Dangerousness Hearing Set for Suspect in Hopkinton Police Incident

HOPKINTON – A dangerousness hearing is scheduled for today for a man accused of a series of serious offenses involving a stolen vehicle. Police say Christopher Saunders allegedly stole his girlfriend’s car in Southborough, cut off a home confinement ankle monitor, and tried to ram a Hopkinton police cruiser when officers attempted a stop last Tuesday.

Saunders faces 14 charges, including assault with a dangerous weapon, malicious destruction of property, and drug trafficking, and had been held without bail pending the hearing.
