Commuter Rail Workers Rally for Better Wages

A rally Wednesday was held by workers on the commuter rails that link us to Boston on Wednesday to draw attention to the effort to get a new contract with the company that manages the system. An article in the Daily News quotes Jeffery Sweeny of local 201 saying, “We run the fifth-largest commuter rail in the country and our wages are ranked 10th compared to other rail services.”
