By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The head of a catalytic converter theft ring that spanned New England but started getting caught with an arrest in Franklin last year has pleaded guilty to a long list of federal charges. Rafael Davila, also known as “Robbin Hood” will be sentenced in July when he faces up to 20 years in prison. Police from 70 different towns provided evidence against Davila and six other people. In addition to the more than 500 catalytic converter thefts, prosecutors say they also robbed jewelry stores and smashed into ATMs.
