MILFORD — Milford Post 59 closed out its 2026 District 4 American Legion Baseball regular season in emphatic fashion Monday night, erupting for an 18-8 victory over Main South Post 341 at Fino Field.
Milford’s offense exploded for 18 runs on 11 hits, breaking the game open with an 11-run third inning after taking an early 4-1 lead through the first two frames. Main South answered with five runs over the fourth and fifth innings, but Milford added insurance in the sixth to secure the win.
The top of the lineup fueled the offensive outburst. Nick Pedroli went 2-for-3, scoring three runs, driving in two. Joey McGee finished 2-for-2 with three runs scored, an RBI, two walks, and a stolen base, while Ben Maiorano collected two hits and three RBIs.
Gavin Metcalf continued his strong return from injury, going 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles and two runs scored. Jackson Fournier added two hits and an RBI, while Nolan Murray drove in two runs. Sean Burchard chipped in a hit and a run, and Matt Pedroli crossed the plate twice.
On the mound, Brady Wajda earned the win, allowing three runs over three innings while striking out two. Adam Dubowik and Jordan Martorano combined to finish the final three innings, with Martorano striking out three.
Milford finishes the regular season with another dominant offensive performance and enters the District 4 postseason as the No. 2-seeded team behind only Leominster.
