Mansfield picked up a 2-1 field hockey victory over Foxboro on Tuesday night, marking the first time the Hornets had defeated Foxboro in 2015.
Mem Kreiche got Mansfield on the scoreboard first, giving the Hornets an early lead. Maria Dodd later added an insurance goal to put Mansfield ahead 2-0.
Foxboro managed to find the back of the net, but Mansfield held on for the 2-1 victory.
The Warriors will look to bounce back tonight when they return home to host Milford. The game is scheduled for a 5 p.m. start.
