UXBRIDGE — Golfers from across the region are invited to hit the links while supporting local charitable causes as the Grafton Lions Club hosts its 19th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Tuesday, Aug. 11, at Blissful Meadows Golf Club in Uxbridge.
The annual fundraiser is one of the Grafton Lions Club’s signature events, bringing together golfers, local businesses, and community supporters for a day of competition, camaraderie, and philanthropy. Proceeds from the tournament will help the club continue its mission of serving the community through a variety of charitable programs and initiatives.
The tournament will feature 18 holes of golf on the award-winning Blissful Meadows course, along with contests, prizes, raffles, food, and an awards celebration following play. Organizers are welcoming individual golfers, foursomes, sponsors, and community partners to take part in the event.
Funds raised during the outing will support the Grafton Lions Club’s many service projects, including programs benefiting vision and hearing initiatives, local families, youth organizations, seniors, and other community needs. The club also supports the Massachusetts Lions Eye Research Fund and collects used eyeglasses to help those in need.
Blissful Meadows Golf Club, located on Chocalog Road in Uxbridge, has become a popular destination for charity tournaments thanks to its scenic 18-hole championship course and welcoming atmosphere.
