Foxboro delivered a strong defensive performance Friday night, rolling past Oliver Ames 28-7 behind a standout effort from Caiden Dunn, who recorded three interceptions in the victory.
Dunn’s three interceptions helped disrupt Oliver Ames’ offense and keep Foxboro in control throughout the matchup. The defensive performance played a key role in securing the Warriors’ 21-point win.
The 28-7 victory improves Foxboro’s overall record to 4-2 and moves the Warriors to 1-1 in league play. With the regular season continuing to take shape, Foxboro will now turn its attention to a major test next week.
The Warriors are scheduled to host King Philip, which also enters the matchup with a 4-2 overall record. King Philip remains undefeated in league play, setting up an important contest for both teams as they look to strengthen their positions in the standings.
Foxboro will look to build on Friday’s defensive success and earn a significant league victory when the two teams meet next week.
