FRANKLIN — Bluebirds Softball is looking to add a small number of players to its 8U and 12U club teams as the organization continues preparing for its upcoming season.
The program is currently seeking 8U utility players with birthdays between Sept. 1, 2017 and Aug. 31, 2019.
At the 12U level, Bluebirds is looking for catchers and utility players with birthdays between Sept. 1, 2013 and Aug. 31, 2015.
Bluebirds describes itself as a club softball program focused on developing athletes both on and off the field. Its coaching staff includes current and former collegiate players along with varsity coaches, with an emphasis on skill development, mental toughness and strength and conditioning.
The program includes a five-month offseason training schedule, dedicated coaching, winter strength and conditioning, and access to the Next9Up Athletic Training Facility, including batting tunnels and HitTrax.
Tournament, showcase and league fees are also included in the program, along with uniforms and player gear.
