Blackstone Valley Baseball Dominates Once Again

Blackstone Valley kept rolling last night with another strong all-around performance, taking down Bellingham and showing why the Beavers have been one of the most dangerous teams early in the season. The Beavers jumped out quickly, scoring four runs over the first two innings, and answered each time the Blackhawks tried to apply pressure.

Max Pilkington was a key part of the offense again, finishing with two singles and three RBIs. Jack Marino added a solo home run, and Ayden Joseph collected three hits to keep the lineup moving. Blackstone Valley also got a strong outing from Jacksen Manosh on the mound, as he worked a complete game, allowed two earned runs, and struck out five. That kind of pitching gave the Beavers a chance to keep control even when Bellingham tried to make things interesting.

The win moves Blackstone Valley to 5-1 and puts the Beavers back on track after their loss to Nipmuc. This team has been consistently productive, scoring seven or more runs in all but one of its games so far, which has made it tough to slow down.

Blackstone Valley now turns to Auburn this upcoming Tuesday at 11 a.m. The Rockets are 3-3 and are coming off a 16-1 win over Uxbridge, so they will bring some confidence into the matchup. Auburn also has Shrewsbury on the schedule today, which means the Beavers will need to stay focused and continue playing at a high level.
