WRENTHAM – The King Philip Regional High School football program has officially turned the page to a new era, naming Anthony Vizakis as its next head coach.

Vizakis is no stranger to the Warriors. Serving as the team’s offensive coordinator for the past three seasons, he helped lead King Philip to two Super Bowl championships and an outstanding 38-1 record during that span.

School officials say Vizakis understands the culture and tradition of the program and is well-positioned to build upon its recent success.

His football background includes previous experience as head coach at Milford High School and offensive coordinator at Franklin High School. As a player, Vizakis competed at both Bishop Feehan High School and Bridgewater State University.

The announcement comes as King Philip begins a new chapter following the retirement of longtime head coach Brian Lee, whose 21-year tenure established the Warriors as one of Massachusetts’ premier high school football programs.

With a championship pedigree and deep ties to the program, supporters are eager to see what the future holds under Coach Vizakis’ leadership.
