Coach Brian Lee Steps Down After Strong 21 Year Run at King Philip

WRENTHAM – A legendary chapter has come to a close for King Philip Regional High School football.

Head Coach Brian Lee is stepping down after an incredible 21-year run leading the Warriors, leaving behind a legacy of success and leadership. During his tenure, Lee compiled 176 wins, made 8 Super Bowl appearances, captured 4 state championships, and secured 8 Hockomock League titles.

While the numbers are impressive, many say his greatest impact came off the field. Known as a mentor and role model, Lee helped shape generations of student-athletes through his emphasis on discipline, teamwork, and accountability.

His influence will continue to be felt through the players he coached and the culture he built—one defined by pride, commitment, and excellence.

The King Philip community is thanking Coach Lee for his years of dedication and wishing him and his family all the best in the next chapter.
