BELLINGHAM – A group of local students is being recognized for making a meaningful difference in their school community.
Members of Girl Scout Troop 84, all students at Stall Brook Elementary School, spent part of their vacation restoring the school’s Peace Garden after noticing it had become overgrown.

Through teamwork, initiative, and pride in their school, the students worked together to clean up and beautify the space—bringing it back to life for everyone to enjoy.

School officials say the project is a great example of student leadership and community values in action, and a reminder of the positive impact young people can have when they step up to help.
The transformation has already made a difference, creating a welcoming and peaceful space once again for the Stall Brook community.
