HOPKINTON – The Hopkinton Parks and Recreation Commission has chosen a new director. The Commission unanimously voted to hire Cory Herd, currently the Recreation Department coordinator in Grafton, to replace Jon Lewitus, who left last month for the same position in Sudbury.
The Hopkinton Independent reports Herd has worked for the Town of Grafton for 10 years in various roles and has about 20 years of experience in outdoor recreation.
