MILFORD – Milford’s Special Town Meeting is Monday. The 36-article warrant includes several requests from town departments to purchase new equipment.
One article would use $50,000 to purchase a snow removal and sweeper vehicle for town buildings. Two articles for the Fire Department request $110,000 for a new rescue truck and $525,000 for self-contained breathing apparatus. There is also an article requesting $250,000 for the Highway Department to replace its 56-year-old radio communication system.
