HOPKINTON – Overnight commuters should expect another ramp closure tonight as work continues on the massive I-495/I-90 interchange reconstruction.
The I-495 northbound ramp to Route 9 East, Exit 59A, will be closed tonight and Thursday night from 10 PM to 5 AM. Drivers will be detoured onto Exit 59B, Route 9 West, and then directed to turn around.
The multiyear project is designed to reduce crashes and improve traffic flow and is expected to be completed next summer.
