King Philip football earned a hard-fought 19-14 victory over North Attleboro, using a strong offensive performance and a clutch defensive stand to secure the win.
The Warriors relied on Ethan O’Connell to lead the way offensively, as he finished with 108 yards and three touchdowns to account for all of King Philip’s scoring. O’Connell’s performance helped the Warriors build enough of a cushion to withstand a late push from the Rocketeers.
North Attleboro had one final opportunity to take the lead, but King Philip’s defense came up with a crucial stop on fourth-and-1 to stall the Rocketeers’ offense and preserve the five-point victory.
With the win, King Philip improves to 3-2 on the season and will look to keep its momentum going when the Warriors travel to Canton for their next matchup.
