HOPKINTON – A 79-year-old Hopkinton man remains in critical condition after he and his dog were hit by an SUV Sunday evening on Wood Street. Police say the man and his dog were struck by a Northborough woman who stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. No charges have been filed.
The man was taken to UMass Medical Center in Worcester, while a neighbor brought the dog to Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. Hopkinton Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has doorbell camera footage from the area to contact them.
