Attleboro field hockey put together a dominant performance, shutting out Taunton 7-0 behind a hat trick from senior Megan Huntington.
Huntington led the offensive attack, scoring three goals while also recording an assist to help the Bombardiers pull away. Attleboro received contributions from four other goal scorers, showcasing the team’s depth throughout the game.
While the offense continued to find the back of the cage, Attleboro’s defense kept Taunton off the scoreboard to secure the shutout victory.
The Bombardiers will look to carry that momentum into their next matchup when they travel to Wrentham on Wednesday to take on King Philip. The game is scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. start.
With a high-scoring offense and a strong defensive effort, Attleboro will enter Wednesday’s contest looking to build on its convincing win over Taunton.
