SOUTHBOROUGH – Southborough could be one step closer to getting a Costco after plans for the proposed store went before the Planning Board last week.
The project is part of the approval process for a 26-acre property on Coslin Drive in Southborough and Westborough. Plans call for a roughly 167,000-square-foot Costco warehouse.
The Community Advocate reports traffic is expected to be one of the major concerns raised by residents. The project is estimated to generate approximately 8,800 additional vehicle trips during the week and another 8,800 over the weekend.
