MILFORD – A new four-way stop is coming to Congress Street at Walnut Street and West Walnut Street on Monday, September 28th.
Milford Police say the change is intended to improve safety at the intersection. Each side will have a solar-powered, blinking stop sign provided by MassDOT through its All-Way Stop Control Program, which converts certain hazardous two-way-stop intersections to four-way stops.
Drivers are encouraged to use extra caution as everyone gets accustomed to the new traffic pattern.
