HOPKINTON – The Friends of Whitehall are hosting an educational hike this weekend focused on the history of the Hopkinton Springs Hotel.
The hotel, which opened in 1820, was one of the earliest resorts in New England and attracted visitors seeking the medicinal mineral springs, including wealthy vacationers from Boston and beyond.
The short hike on Sunday, September 20 will explore the history and locations of the former hotel and its springs.
