HOPKINTON – Hopkinton is exploring the creation of a new Cultural District aimed at celebrating the town’s artistic, cultural and economic identity.
Town officials say a Cultural District could help encourage collaboration between local organizations, support businesses and job development, and boost tourism.
Organizers are applying for official designation and potential grant funding through the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
Residents and business owners are invited to a discussion about the proposed district on Monday, September 28, at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts.
