FRANKLIN/MEDWAY – Local fire departments are inviting residents to join them Friday as they commemorate the 25th anniversary of the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks.
The Franklin Fire Department will hold its ceremony at 9 AM at Fire Headquarters on West Central Street. The community is invited to attend as firefighters honor those who lost their lives and recognize the first responders who answered the call that morning.
In Medway, a remembrance ceremony will begin at 8:30 AM at Fire Headquarters on Milford Street.
Medway’s ceremony will include a ceremonial ringing of the bells marking key moments from the morning of September 11th, along with a remembrance of the victims and first responders.
