HOPKINTON – The Hopkinton Public Library Board of Trustees is moving forward with plans to hire a new director and assistant director following two recent departures.
Library Director Nanci Hill and Assistant Director Jak Miller have both formally stepped down from their positions.
The next step in the hiring process is expected Tuesday, when the board is scheduled to consider approving the job posting. If approved, the position is expected to be posted Wednesday.
In the meantime, two supervisors will share the responsibilities of the director’s position. Library hours could also be temporarily reduced as the library operates with fewer staff members.
