GRAFTON — Grafton Recreation is partnering with InclYOUsion Sports to offer an inclusive youth sports program this fall, giving children of different abilities and experience levels an opportunity to learn and play in a non-competitive environment.
The eight-week session will focus on the fundamentals of flag football and track and field and will run on Sundays from Sept. 13 through Nov. 8 at Norcross Park.
Classes are designed for beginners and children who benefit from smaller class sizes. Coaches will modify activities based on each participant’s experience level, with skill-building focused on running, throwing, catching and jumping.
Three age groups will be offered. Children ages 2 to 4 will meet from 11 to 11:50 a.m., ages 5 to 7 from 9 to 9:50 a.m., and ages 8 to 10 from 10 to 10:50 a.m.
All necessary sports equipment will be provided by InclYOUsion Sports. Families only need to send children with water, comfortable clothing and appropriate shoes.
The program costs $200 per participant.
