HOPKINTON – Hopkinton is preparing for leadership changes in two town departments, with the directors of Parks & Recreation and the Public Library both leaving their positions this month.
Parks & Recreation Director Jon Lewitus confirmed to the Hopkinton Independent that his final day will be September 9th. Lewitus is leaving to become Parks & Recreation Director in Sudbury, where his family lives.
Public Library Director Nancy Hill also has resigned, with her final day scheduled for September 17th. No official reason for her departure has been announced.
The library will experience another staffing change this week, as Assistant Library Director Jak Miller is also leaving for another job. Miller’s final day is Friday.
