FRANKLIN – The Franklin Food Pantry has announced the appointment of longtime Franklin resident Tom Mercer to its Board of Directors.
The Pantry says Mercer brings decades of public service, municipal government experience and business leadership to the organization. His community service includes 10 years on the Franklin School Committee and 14 years on the Franklin Town Council.
The Franklin Food Pantry says Mercer’s experience and longstanding connection to the community will support its work assisting local residents experiencing food insecurity.
The organization also thanked departing board members Oona Harrington and David Stott for their dedicated service and contributions to the Pantry.
