FRANKLIN – A public hearing on a proposed mixed-use development in downtown Franklin has been postponed for more than a month.
The owner of the proposed Depot Plaza development on Main Street asked the Franklin Planning Board Monday night to continue the public hearing until September 28 while corrections are made to project filings.
The proposal calls for a four-story building containing apartments and commercial space. Developers are seeking a Special Permit related to the project.
The development has reportedly drawn objections from some neighbors as it moves through the town’s approval process.
The Planning Board is now expected to resume its consideration of the proposal on September 28th.
