MENDON – Drivers traveling through Mendon toward Hopedale and Bellingham should continue to prepare for road closures and detours as Highway Department work continues.
Hartford Avenue East is closed between Bellingham Street and Cape Road until 4 PM Tuesday. Drivers who do not live within the work area are being directed to use Bellingham Street as a detour.
The closure will shift Wednesday. Hartford Avenue East will reopen, while Bellingham Street will be closed between Hartford Avenue and Cape Road from 6 AM to 4 PM.
Residents who live along the affected roads will be allowed through with assistance from police officers. All other motorists will be required to follow the posted detours.
