BELLINGHAM — Fans will have a chance to meet members of the Savannah Bananas before the team takes the field at Gillette Stadium later this month.
Members of the Bananas are scheduled to appear at Dairy Queen in Bellingham for a special meet-and-greet on Thursday, Aug. 27 at 6:30 p.m.
The event will give fans an opportunity to meet members of the team, take photos and collect autographs while also enjoying their favorite Dairy Queen treats.
The appearance comes one day before the Savannah Bananas are scheduled to play the Loco Beach Coconuts at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough on Friday, Aug. 28.
The Bananas have become known for their high-energy style of baseball and entertainment, attracting large crowds as their traveling show continues to visit major venues across the country.
The Bellingham meet-and-greet offers local fans a chance to connect with members of the team before the Gillette Stadium matchup.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 27 at 6:30 p.m. at Dairy Queen in Bellingham.
