MENDON – Drivers traveling between Mendon, Hopedale and Bellingham should prepare for road closures and detours this week as the Mendon Highway Department completes work along Hartford Avenue East and Bellingham Street.
Hartford Avenue East will be closed between Bellingham Street and Cape Road from 6 AM to 4 PM, with motorists advised to use Bellingham Street as a detour.
The traffic pattern will change Wednesday. Hartford Avenue East will reopen while Bellingham Street will be closed between Hartford Avenue and Cape Road from 6 AM to 4 PM.
Residents who live along the affected roads will continue to have access to their properties, with police officers available to assist them through the work zones.
