FOXBOROUGH — The Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce is preparing to bring local businesses and community supporters together for the Bluestone Bank Golf Classic on Monday, Aug. 24, at Foxborough Country Club.
The event will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., with registration, format and rules beginning at 8 a.m. before a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
Golfers will have several ways to compete throughout the day, including longest drive contests for both men and women, closest-to-the-pin challenges, a $10,000 hole-in-one contest, a poker challenge on all par-3 holes, and a putting contest. Each golfer will also receive a mulligan, a putting string and three poker cards.
Individual golfer registration is $225, which includes a round of golf with a cart, snack bag and dinner. Foursomes are available for $900, while a foursome and T-sign sponsorship package is available for $1,000.
The tournament will also include a 50/50 raffle, with proceeds from the event supporting the Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce’s mission and programming.
Bluestone Bank is serving as the title sponsor, while additional event sponsors include Barrows Insurance, Marinilli Adjusters, North Easton Savings Bank, Plainridge Park Casino, Schneider Electric and Hannon Electric.
Businesses that are not planning to golf can still participate through sponsorships, T-signs, volunteer opportunities or by contributing promotional items to the golfer goodie bags.
The Bluestone Bank Golf Classic will be held at Foxborough Country Club, 33 Walnut Street in Foxborough, on Monday, Aug. 24. Registration and additional event information are available through the Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce.
