HOPEDALE – Hopedale has a new interim town administrator as the town continues its search for a permanent leader.

According to the Milford Daily News, Town Moderator Eugene Phillips has been appointed to serve as interim town administrator beginning today. Phillips previously served as the town’s Town Coordinator and will step into the role following several recent departures in town leadership.

The appointment comes after former Town Administrator Mitch Ruscitti left last month to become Swansea’s town administrator. During the week of July 27th, both Interim Town Administrator Michael Gallagher and Assistant Town Administrator Kelly Grant also resigned, leaving the town without permanent administrative leadership.
