MILFORD – Three patriotic designs have been selected as part of Milford’s celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.
The Milford Cultural Council and the Italian American World War Veterans Post 40 announced the artists chosen to paint picnic tables that will be installed beneath the Fontecchio Pavilion at Veterans Hall.
The selected works include “Honoring All Those Who Served” by veteran and artist Tasha DeBlois, “America 250th Celebration” by mural artist David O’Gara, and an untitled design created by mother-and-daughter team Lisa Sullo and Amelia Ledrich.
The painted tables will serve as a permanent public art installation honoring the nation’s semi quincentennial.
