HOPKINTON – Hopkinton residents and business owners are invited to help shape the town’s future emergency preparedness plans during a public meeting Tuesday evening.
The meeting will focus on updating Hopkinton’s Hazard Mitigation Plan, which must be approved by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in order for the town to remain eligible for federal hazard mitigation grants.
Town officials are seeking community input on local hazard risks and priorities for reducing the impacts of future natural disasters. The meeting will be held Tuesday, August 4th, from 4 to 6 PM in the second-floor training room at the Hopkinton Fire Department on Main Street.
