HOPKINTON – Hopkinton is inviting residents and business owners to help shape the town’s updated Hazard Mitigation Plan.
A public meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 4, from 4 to 6 PM at the Hopkinton Fire Department on Main Street.
Officials are seeking community feedback on local hazard risks and priorities for reducing the impacts of future natural disasters. The updated plan must receive approval from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for Hopkinton to remain eligible for federal hazard mitigation grant funding.
