HOPKINTON – Hopkinton residents have an opportunity to conserve water while saving money through the Great American Rain Barrel Program.
Rain barrels collect runoff from rooftops, providing an environmentally friendly source of water for gardens and landscaping while reducing stormwater runoff.
Many local communities participate in the discount program. In Hopkinton, residents can order discounted rain barrels now and pick them up at the Hopkinton Department of Public Works on September 26th.
