HOPEDALE – Global logistics company Maersk says Hopedale’s location played a key role in its decision to build a new $100 million fulfillment center in town.
As previously announced, the 617,000-square-foot facility is expected to create approximately 1,000 jobs and begin operations in August.
According to a company spokesperson speaking with the Milford Daily News, Hopedale was selected because of its “strategic location,” allowing Maersk to position inventory closer to customers as it continues expanding its North American logistics network.
