MILFORD/NORTHBRIDGE – A Milford man is facing multiple charges after police say he rammed a Massachusetts State Police cruiser and fled from a traffic stop before being captured the following day.
According to State Police, a trooper stopped a vehicle driven by Joseph Prior in Northbridge on Thursday. Investigators allege Prior shifted into reverse, nearly striking the trooper before backing into the cruiser and fleeing the scene.
A warrant was issued for Prior’s arrest. On Friday, Milford Police officers spotted him walking on Parkhurst Road. Police say he attempted to run but was quickly apprehended. Prior faces seven charges and was ordered held on $10,000 bail.
