HOPKINTON – Three Hopkinton siblings have once again turned their bike ride into a successful fundraiser for cancer research.
Parker, Mikaela, and Khloe Canby participated in the Franklin PMC Kids Ride on June 7, raising nearly $3,300 for cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
According to the Hopkinton Independent, the family raised more than $3,500 during last year’s event, making this the second consecutive year they have surpassed the $3,000 mark.
Their mother, a cancer survivor who received treatment through Dana-Farber, says the annual ride is the family’s way of giving back to an organization that helped change their lives.
