MILFORD – Milford Police are reminding residents that Echo Lake is a protected water supply following what they describe as a recent increase in illegal activity.
Police say officers have responded to numerous incidents involving littering, illegal campfires, public drinking, and other violations at the property, which serves as a vital drinking water source for the town.
Officials emphasize that trespassing, swimming, camping, fires, and littering are all prohibited at Echo Lake. They say enforcement efforts will continue and violators can expect to receive citations.
